German handmades are usually the most desirable and often the most desirable, the majority were produced from the 19th century, until the outbreak of World War I. Which Led to their export ending and the decline in the industry.

Bright iridescent multicoloured marbles and large marbles are usually very popular.

The majority are categorised by the elements they contain and the style of the elements certain colours such as blue and red are rare.

American machine made marbles are readily growing in their pop reality, as yesteryears children become today’s collectors and the limited supply of handmade marbles become more sought after.
