BUNNYKINS PRICE GUIDE 1998-2000

BUNNYKINS PRICE GUIDE 1998-2000

The Royal Doulton Collectors Band from the Oompah Band series modelled by David Lyttleton has been produced in three series, with the Drummer the only piece to come in four different versions. The first set was issued in 1984 and ran until 1990 with each character dressed in red, blue and yellow uniforms. A second limited edition set was made in 1990 wearing a blue uniform and the third set was issued in 1991 wearing a dark green/red & yellow uniform.

The main points for collectors to remember here are that the second and third sets were ltd eds of just 250 for each figure. The first range was produced for Royal Doulton's general Bunnykins series and it was this series that featured two different Drummer Bunnykins, one of which celebrated the 50th anniversary in 1994. All Bunnykins made during this 1994 Golden Anniversary year bore a special backstamp marking the event.
